Killing It With Consistency

This past season was all about focusing on showing others how to manage their minds & follow their hearts to live an extraordinary life- mind, body, and soul. Basically, no matter how many accomplishments I would cross off of my to-do list, I would often find myself wanting more, and this had me thinking, if "success" isn't the key to happiness, what was? Now through the nutritional goal-setting program that I have been running (super low-key to say the least) for the last three years, I can help others tune into their "why" behind their goals & dreams and ironically a lot of that starts with food and how we treat our body. My approach is rooted in compassionate realism and an intentional living model, which has helped my clients( I only take 12 per year) make massive shifts in their mindsets, nutritional goals, and personal relationships.

One of the key components to accomplishing almost any goal we have in mind, no matter what area it falls into to is consistency. I mean, think about it; anything that you lack boils down to the lack of consistent effort and resources that you have put into it. Am I right? Today we are going to change that. Are you ready? Here we go.

Everything you want is waiting for you on the other side of consistency.

How To Get Consistent

Aim for B- work.

If you find yourself thinking that something is only worth doing if it can be done "perfectly," you're much less likely to begin. Remind yourself that the goal is progress not perfection. It's much easier to stay consistent that way.

Have a clearly defined reason for why you're doing what you're doing.

Lack of clarity around why you're taking action leads to self-doubt, self-doubt leads to halted actions. When you find yourself tempted to skimp on your consistent work, remind yourself of your compelling reason.

Know that good things take time.

We live in a world of instant gratification, but that doesn't exist with significant changes. If you're on a weight-loss journey, it's not eating well on the day you hit the goal weight that got you that result. It was showing up for yourself consistently along the way.

Reflect on what has interfered with your ability to show up consistently in the past and then solve for those obstacles.

Turn your obstacles into strategies for success.
